Avon Garden Club 2025 Beautification Awards

The biennial Beautification Awards, which recognize exceptional residential gardens in Avon, were presented this year. The Avon Garden club began these awards in 2003 to support its mission and goal of contributing to the beautification of our community. Eligible gardens must be attended to and maintained by the homeowners; professionally manicured gardens are not eligible. Only front yards are considered.

Winners of the 2025 Beautification Awards were announced at the October meeting on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Miller Nature Preserve. The Awards were presented by Mayor Jensen, and the Beautification Awards Chair Cynthia Murnyack-Czarnecki, and Avon Garden Club President Kathleen Hrabik. A special thank you to the Beautification Awards Committee members Nancy Haas, Kathleen Hrabik, Conni Strozsak, Mike Tiechman, and Cynthia Murnyack-Czarnecki for their hours of work reviewing gardens throughout Avon. We would also like to thank the members of the garden club who provided the delicious food and desserts for the reception.
